Dearest Friends and Family,

Our annual memorial meeting, commemorating the loss of family and loved ones - parents, children, and friends will be held at 2-4pm on May 6 in the Golberg Ball Room of the Park East Synagogue (163 East 67th Street, New York, NY).

“Our Lida Stories”, pictures, fliers, and items of interest that we have been collecting and displaying over the past few years were on display.

During the meeting we are proud to share a short documentary on the Lida Jewish community that the foundation has translated to English. This is a professional documentary that aired in Belarus and features pictures and videos of Lida.

Please encourage your children, grandchildren, relatives, and friends to attend and participate. We want to share this special time with them as we remember, together, the loss of our dear ones. As the number of original “ Menchen”, the remaining few dwindle, the importance of the second and third generation increases.

We will hold elections this year and we encourage anyone who would like to get more involved to run for office.

We look forward to your attendance and participation. All we request is an understanding heart and a listening ear. Snippets, even a belief statement, can capture a mural of emotions that describes the past and powerfully impact all of us gathered today.

If you cannot attend and wish to make a donation, please send your check made out to:

Thank you. We are looking forward to seeing you and being together once again.
